Remote Working Creates A Global Talent Pool

The Entry Level Challenge
Perhaps the greatest long-term question concerns the next generation of technology professionals.
Historically, many successful careers began on the helpdesk.
Junior technicians learnt by resetting passwords, installing software, resolving printer issues, replacing hardware and supporting everyday users before progressing into infrastructure, cybersecurity and management roles.

If organisations recruit fewer entry-level technicians, where will tomorrow’s experienced infrastructure specialists gain their practical experience?
The traditional IT career ladder may need significant redesign.
